A huge thank you to our Operations Director, Chris Stebbing, and his team who managed to attain 100% in all categories in our recent Achilles audit.
Achilles are a supply chain company that assess suitable suppliers in their specialist categories for buyers. The aim of this is to assist companies in improving their supply chain with validated information and therefore reduce risk mitigation.
This enables the supplier to be better placed to win new business and buyers are able to procure with complete assurance.
It is vital we retain this accreditation as for some of our clients, i.e. Balfour Beatty Rail, Anglian Water, Siemens Signalling, to name but a few, it is a prerequisite. It also means that we have opportunities to Tender for work via the Achilles Portal.
The Audit is a 2 day affair and is conducted by an Achilles trained assessor. The audit encompasses both Head Office and on site assessments. The assessor evaluates Quality Policies and Processes, Health and Safety, Environment and Corporate Social responsibilities. We achieved 100% in each category. What an achievement by the team.
