Just Ask - We Never Say No

It is easy to forget that feeling last year in the first weeks of the pandemic. For a large amount of business owners, it was a time of fear that they were about to lose everything they had worked for and the responsibility of all the staff in their employment weighed heavily upon them.

WINNS Services was included in this group. The Board of Directors had zoom meetings every morning before 8am and every evening after the government’s update. Their strategy changed daily and depended upon the latest news and directives as they came in. The Board members worked tirelessly, giving up all their holiday for the year to ensure the longevity of the business remained intact for the future.

WINNS is now going through a period of self reflection and the whole company has been requested and encouraged to join in on this activity. Karen Stillwell, WINNS Business Development Manager, is busy collating everyone’s responses and preparing the data for analysis. However, in the interim, there are three things that stand out as the core of our survival, both carrying equal weight.

THE DEDICATION, COMMITMENT AND PROFESSIONALISM OF ALL WINNS STAFF

WINNS is so proud of all its staff.  They are our greatest asset.

We have staff who continued to clean schools which were open for key workers. Thank you!

  • We have staff that travelled into London, playing their valuable part in ensuring industry could continue and the economy could survive. Thank you!

  • We have staff who worked from home stuck inside during the glorious weather. Thank you!

  • We have staff whose shifts were altered, sometimes daily at the request of clients, and still turned up every day. Thank you!

  • We have staff who turned up as per normal to provide cleaning or security for our clients with no drama.  Thank you!

And the second reason why WINNS survived and prospered in a time when many others didn’t, we had Rob as our Managing Director whose personal motto is:

JUST ASK. WE NEVER SAY NO

Rob has run his own business in some form or another for nearly 40 years. He knows people who know people. He’s interested in people. He fosters connections between people. During the pandemic, not only was WINNS able to solve problems for its clients, Rob was able to assist clients in multiple areas by just passing across phone numbers of contacts, etc. to help them with their own problems. This network ensured that not only did WINNS survive and prosper, but so did our clients.

WINNS is in the strongest position it has ever been. Our clients are benefiting from our teamwork, our can do attitude, our innovative practices brought about by constant considerations of trends, self reflection upon our strengths and weaknesses as a company and as individuals who make up WINNS and our determination to:

NEVER SAY NO. IF WE CAN’T DO IT, WE’LL KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN.
