Maintenance
Your offices may have a few little maintenance jobs that would be one less thing on your mind in the new year. Get your maintenance team into fix those light bulbs and check the heating is working well, you'll thank yourself for that one in January.
This can extend to the toilets and plumbing problems that will be better off being fixed than causing problems over your relaxing time off.
Security
Even if you and your employees are away for a week your business is still there and could be looked at as a prime target at this time of year. You don't want to take for granted that the thieves are taking Christmas off too.
